General
ITIM Australia Limited (ITIM) is committed to protecting your privacy.
ITIM will not use, sell or disclose any information collected about
you other than for the purpose for which it has been provided or
for any other purpose without your consent unless required or authorised
by law. We do not solicit or knowingly collect any information from
visitors under 18 years of age.
Information We Collect
Personal information ITIM collects about you will depend on how
you use our website.
Registration
In order to use many features of itim.com.au, you must first complete
a registration form. When you register to use our site, ITIM may
ask you to provide your name, organisation, e-mail address, and
other information. We use that information to provide you with a
more personalised online experience and to process orders, as well
as to keep track of what topics are of interest to you. We also
use the information to determine whether you are a subscriber, or
a Client or an authorised employee of a Client. You may also be
requested to provide additional optional information about your
occupation and certain relevant interests. While not required, we
encourage you to provide this information so we can provide a more
personalised experience for you on our site.
Ordering
If you order a ITIM product or service from us, or register for
an event, we will request additional information on our order form.
This includes contact information (such as name, address and contact
telephone numbers). This information is used for billing and confirmation
purposes, to fulfill your order or complete your event registration.
If we have trouble processing an order or registration, this contact
information is also used to get in touch with you.
Request for more Information and Contact Us Forms
Should you complete and submit any of the Forms to provide you with
more information on our goods and services ITIM will collect the
information it contains to meet the required requests. Should you
not submit your application, any information which you had entered
is automatically deleted. We also use customer contact information
from emails or other contacts to send information about our company.
The customer's contact information is also used to contact the visitor
when necessary.
Surveys
We may conduct online surveys occasionally. For example, you may
see a pop-up window within our Web site, offering you the opportunity
of participating in a survey. These surveys are totally voluntary
and you may easily choose not to participate.
E-newsletters and alerts – Special offers and information
If you register to receive e-newsletters or alerts from itim.com.au
you will be asked to provide your e-mail address and the topics
in which you are interested. Other information may also be necessary
depending on the type of e-newsletter or alert requested. This information
is used solely to enable us to provide the requested newsletters
and alerts to you.
Opt out Option: Out of respect for the privacy of our users we present
the option to not receive some or all of these types of communications.
Simply reply to any of the emails and type "remove me from
this list" in the subject line of your email.
Site and service updates E-newsletters and alerts
If you are an ITIM Client, we may also send you site and service
announcement updates. You are not able to un-subscribe from service
announcements, which contain important information about the service.
Sharing and Disclosure of Information
ITIM is not in the business of selling personally identifiable information
to others. ITIM may, however, share or disclose information you
provide us to other companies and people under the following circumstances:
Agents and Service Providers: We sometimes employ or contract
with other companies and individuals to perform functions on our
behalf, such as supporting our systems infrastructure or processing
of online payments. They have access to only such information about
Users as is needed to perform such services in accordance with their
contract with us, and must not use any of this information for other
purposes.
Legal Matters: ITIM has the right to disclose any
personal information about you or your use of the Service, or any
other information that you submit without your prior permission
if ITIM has a good faith belief that such action is necessary to:
protect and defend the rights, property, or safety of ITIM, clients,
or suppliers, other users of this Site, or the public; or respond
to claims that any content violates the rights of third parties.
We may also disclose information as we deem necessary to satisfy
any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
Your Instructions: We may share any information
you submit on or to the Site when we have your consent to do so
or when we need to share it to provide the information or service
you have requested.
ITIM does aggregate personally identifiable information and may
disclose aggregated information to third parties for marketing and
promotional purposes. However, in these situations, we do not disclose
to these entities any information that could be used to identify
you.
Cookies
We employ cookie technology to help visitors and subscribers move
faster through our site. A cookie is a small piece of computer code,
stored on your hard drive or temporarily in your computer's memory,
which enables Web servers to "identify" visitors. When
you sign on to our Web site or take advantage of several key features,
we may pass cookies to your computer. Each time you initiate a session
on itim.com.au, the site sets the cookie in order to identify you
and determine your access privileges. Cookies do not store any of
the information that you have provided to the site. They are simply
identifiers.
You have the ability to delete cookie files from your hard drive
at any time. However, you should know that cookies may be necessary
to provide you with access to much of the content and features of
itim.com.au. We use cookie technology to enable registered users
to move quickly and securely through access-controlled areas of
the site. Cookie technology also enables registered users to take
advantage of certain useful features on the site including "remember
my password".
Security
ITIM provides its registered users with a secure online experience.
We use a variety of security measures to maintain the safety and
confidentiality of your personal information. All user registration
information is contained behind a firewall and is only accessible
by a limited number of employees who have special access rights
to our production systems. The information you enter on the Site,
including registration information and your account password, is
stored securely by ITIM on our data servers, and your account password
information is encrypted in our database. However, no computer system
or information can ever be fully protected against every possible
hazard. ITIM is committed to providing reasonable and appropriate
security controls to protect this Site and its information against
foreseeable hazards.
You must maintain the confidentiality of your username and password,
and are responsible for restricting unauthorized access to your
computer.
If you have any questions about the security at our Web site, email
itimonline@itim.com.au. The personally identifiable information
we collect about you is stored in limited access servers.

This Site contains links to other sites. The privacy policies at
these other sites may be different from this Policy. Those sites’
privacy policies will govern the use of information you provide
to them.
Correcting/Updating personal information
You may review and update the personally identifiable information/registration
information that you have provided by emailing us at itimonline@ITIM.com.au
or by calling us on 1800 337 068.
Adherance to Laws and Ethical Codes
ITIM is bound by the National Privacy Principles (NPP) and other
requirements under The Privacy Amendment Act 2000 and guidelines
as endorsed by the Office of the Federal Privacy Commissioner.
Policy Amendments
We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes
will be posted here, so ensure to check back periodically.
Transfer to Australia
If you are located outside Australia, please note that the information
you provide to us will be transferred to Australia. By subscribing
to itim.com.au, you consent to this transfer.
